selection, 4/10:
this is more of a general pet store with a decent overall fish selection that focuses more on community fish. as i recall the only cichlids in stock were angels, rams and parrots.
health, 8/10:
poor selection aside, i did buy there the biggest silver dollar i have ever seen. a few months out from that now he's doing great.
staff, 7/10:
helpful and courteous. we asked about a large pacu in a display tank and the woman working didn't know much about it, but said that the other woman (who i believe was not present) would know more about it.
prices, 7/10:
my big silver dollar was only $15 at about 8", which is about the price some places charge for the same species at 4" (and call them extra large, too). their angels were a little high, though i forget precisely how much.
overall, 26/40:
not a bad little place, but more attuned to the needs of the community fish buyer than the cichlid enthusiast.
